Trundle beds feature a link system that replaces the standard rails and box springs. That allows you to choose a frame that will fit comfortably underneath and will hold a standard mattress and coverings. It also keeps the main bedframe mattress at a comfortable height. All basic trundle frames are castered for easy rollout with the option of a pop-up that will raise the sleeping area to regular height.
